One of the greatest highlights of Kris’ visit was to personally witness a historical event.  We held a pastor’s and leader’s breakfast at the church. The students of our schools did a fantastic job of serving those in attendance. The Bishop of the Catholic church was sitting at a table with Kris. Kris was commenting on the beauty of the cross that the Bishop was wearing around his neck.  The Bishop then told the story of how his mentor, who went on to become a Cardinal, presented the Bishop with his cross, as an heir loom. After telling the story, the Bishop removed the cross from around his neck and handed it to Kris. Kris was thinking he was handing it to him so that he may look at it more closely. But when Kris attempted to hand the cross back to the Bishop, the Bishop refused to take it back. The Bishop then proceeded to present the cross to Kris as his gift of thanks for receiving him as a friend and their connection with each other. There was such an awe that settled in that place as Kris took this cross and hung it around his own neck.  What a privilege to be a part of God building bridges between the Christian and the Catholic Church. In a nation that is a Catholic majority, creating a bridge of love and acceptance is imperative to see the Kingdom of God invading this nation. 



About and hour away from La Paz there is a migrant workers camp in a small town called, Meliton. The pastor of the church in that little town came from our church in LaPaz. They have been there for almost 10 years. From a very meager beginning, they have built a wonderful work there. They have grown not only in numbers, but in favor with the camps there. Where there used to be great restrictions, they now have great freedom to go into the camps and minister to the people there. We have visited the church over the years and could not be more proud of what we witnessed. Normally, we bring teams of students from our school to be our ministry team. They are the ones who prophecy, pray for the sick and minister with us. Because of the timing of the trip, we weren’t able to bring students with us. We did bring John, Jessica and their children and Matthew Scotney, who is visiting from Canada with us. John led in some amazing worship and Jessica got a powerful word for the church. What blessed me though, was to see what our students would normally do, their people were doing! They were prophesying over the body, they got words of knowledge and prayed for the sick. It was a huge testimony for us to see. They are doing the works of Jesus!! It was a wonderful time with the church there, playing with the kids, eating lunch together and enjoying the fellowship.

 I was so challenged by this. I could see cities and nations being transformed because of this Love. I believe this will happen as we each let His love transform us, then we can understand how to love others. This isn’t the kind of love that just rolls over and takes everything that comes. It’s one that understands honor, confrontation, and the ability to see who God is in each other. The Bible says, “God made man in His own image.” I understand that to mean we are ALL made in His image. Therefore, we each must carry a reflection of Him. If we are willing to look, we will find a reflection of the Father in each other. 

 Denny brought an amazing word he called, “The Mirror of His Will.” It was transforming as he took us from seeing in a mirror dimly, to seeing Him face to face. We shared prophetically, saw some healings, and had the power of Intercession come into the room with declarations over the city. All of that was good and fun, but I felt the real success of the weekend came as we were able to spend time with Pastor Alvin Morales and his wife Patti. They welcomed us into their home with amazing hospitality and great food! During our time together we felt like God took us deeper in our relationship - To be able to hear each other’s hearts and see the treasure in each other. It was a joy to be with them and we look forward to going back in the spring.



Before they left, they decided that they would like to start a school in Mexico City!! Yeah God!! Denny and I will be partnering with them in that. For now, we will do weekly Skype calls and occasional visits over there to help them in building a school of supernatural ministry. We are so excited about this!! We really believe that this is the fruit from when Jobab, their son, lived with us a few years ago.  Jobob went through the school here and went back a total different person- God is good!

John Freeborn, (our worship leader) led everyone in a great time of worship, which ended in a time of impartation of the Holy Spirit.  The evening ended with overwhelming laughter and enjoying the presence of God. I believe some of the students and staff laughed all night long!

The next day started early with more activities. Clara did a great job with morning devotions and gave a wonderful word. The staff and 2^nd year students were awesome in making the retreat a success.  We had more teaching, impartation, and prophetic activities with the students.  Everyone was richly blessed by the touch of God. By the time the activities were over, it was a mad dash to the ocean to cool off – It gets HOT here quick! There is nothing better than being with friends and having God show up…..On the Beach! What a great weekend!
